Christofle Malmaison silver metal tea and coffee service, very good condition
Splendid set from the French brand Christofle in silver metal, Empire style, composed of: a coffee maker, a teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, a tray. The spouts of the jugs are in the shape of a ram's head, the feet of the different pieces are in the shape of animal feet, the handles are in ebony.
The pieces are in very good condition, very well preserved thanks to the Christofle bag in anti-oxidant fabric provided with each element of the service. Some small scratches from use on the tray.
The Christofle hallmark is visible on each element of the service.
It is an exceptional service, in the great tradition of French goldsmithing.
Dimensions : height of the coffee maker 30 cm, width of the spout at the handle 20 cm; height of the teapot 27.5 cm, width of the spout at the handle 21.5 cm; height of milk jug 15 cm, width of spout at handle 11.5 cm; height of sugar bowl 21 cm, top diameter 8 cm; length of the tray 64 cm with handles, width 42 cm.
